2024 School of Fishes and Baby & Me Registration Form

Our own Ms. Donna has taught many Fish over the years in Fontainebleau (since 1972). Ms. Donna officially retired from the School of Fishes in 2021. While she may not be in the pool guiding today's and future Fish, her legacy will live on as we continue the School of Fishes program in her honor.

In 2024, Baby and Me and School of Fishes classes will be taught by Jen Belknap, with some special guest coaches throughout the season. We will continue to have volunteer junior helpers

School of Fishes and Baby and Me are swim lessons with a unique format – much of the lessons are done through games and other fun activities. Classes normally start about the first week in June, depending upon the weather and water temperature.

Baby and Me is a class for parents and very young children – those too short to stand in the pool and under three.  We will work on “getting ready to swim” as opposed to actual learning strokes.  We want the child to be comfortable in the water and happy in the pool. A parent must be in the pool with the child at all times.

“Fish's” must be tall enough to stand in the pool and it is recommended that they be three years or older.  Instructors and junior helpers will be in the pool to instruct the Fish.

You may email Jen Belknap @ jen.belknap@gmail.com if you have any questions.
